Finalists for the 2014 Canada Prizes

The Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2014 Canada Prizes. This year’s finalists are:

Canada Prize in the Humanities

Canada Prize in the Social Sciences

Prix du Canada en sciences humaines

Prix du Canada en sciences sociales

The winners of the 2014 Canada Prizes will be announced at the beginning of May and the prizes, each valued at $2,500, will be presented at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at York University's Glendon College in Toronto. The awards ceremony will feature keynote remarks by Michael Adams, President of Environics and a member of the jury. 

 The CHA would like to congratulate all the finalists for the 2014 Canada Prizes. Several historians are among the finalists: Pierre Anctil, Marie-Josée Fortier, Hugues Theoret, Marie-Claude Thifault Dimitry Anastakis, Bruce Curtis, Christopher Armstrong and HV Nelles.

We would also like to offer our most sincere congratulations to the CHA members in that group: Marie-Claude Thifault, Dimitry Anastakis, Bruce Curtis and HV Nelles.
